Torfaen qualify for the final, Crusaders nearly there

Torfaen Tigers cruised into the WRL Wheelchair Development League Grand Final with a 56-0 win over Cardiff Blue Dragons.

It was the first time in the history of the league that a side had failed to score a point.

Dane Oram went over for the first try on three minutes. Jamie Reynolds converted before adding the next and goaling again.

Leighton Morris added the next two tries, with Reynolds converted the second of them.

Jamie’s father, Jason Reynolds, then got into the act with their seventh try before Trigg-Turner completed his hat-trick to give Torfaen a 40-0 lead at the break.

Like buses, the league waited three years for a shut-out and then two come at once.
