Wales Rugby League is the National Governing Body for Rugby League in Wales. We are funded by Welsh Government, Sport Wales and the RFL.

All Rugby League activity in Wales must be sanctioned by the WRL. We are responsible for the development of all forms of Rugby League at all levels for the community, Professional and International pathways.

We are committed to providing accessible Rugby League for everyone to enjoy a lifetime of sport and we pride ourselves on inclusion, equality and diversity.

Rugby League is a fast and dynamic game, which involves great stamina and skill, and is played through the summer. We currently provide Rugby League for women, men, girls, and boys of all abilities including, running, wheelchair and Physical Disability Rugby League, all at a community or professional club near you.

A great way to get fit and have fun, and if you start to excel at Rugby League, we provide pathways for match officials, coaches and potential international players

Our new National Development Academy in partnership with Coleg-y-Cymoedd and Super League club Salford Red Devils offers educational opportunities and a direct professional pathway for U16s girls and boys.

There are lots of other opportunities to get involved in Rugby League as a volunteer or just to watch our great game as a spectator.
