If you want to get involved with Rugby League in a less formal way, then volunteering is the way to go.
From washing kit to distributing publicity flyers, working behind a bar to helping out on a fun day, volunteers are the backbone of any sporting organisation.
Every club in Wales requires an army of volunteers on a match day, to collect gate money, selling refreshments, collecting statistics during the games, collecting balls kicked into rivers, the volunteer is a key part of any team, and then some!
If you are an enthusiastic person, who has a few hours a week to give to your local club, please get in contact with them, they will be more than happy to hear from you!
Wales Rugby League has a volunteer charter, and all clubs are part of this charter, whereby volunteers are made to feel welcome and appreciated at their club, so there is plenty of support should you wish to become a volunteer.
