North Wales Crusaders A are an open-age community club, and an important part of the Crusaders family.

Set up in 2018, they provide an opportunity to play rugby league at a level below semi-professional, and to develop skills under the direction of an experienced coaching team.

They play in the English North West Men’s League Division 4. A Nines competition is scheduled for August during a break in league fixtures.

Home games are normally played at the Deeside Leisure Centre in Queensferry from March to September on Saturday afternoons.

During weeks of pitch maintenance, home games may be switched to the ground of Shotton Steel RFC directly opposite the Leisure Centre.

For players of appropriate ability and potential we can provide a direct pathway into the semi professional ranks of North Wales Crusaders. There have been joint training sessions with the first team, and already one player has made a couple of appearances with the senior team.

There is also an opportunity for players to achieve Welsh representative honours through North Wales Origin, Wales Dragonhearts and Wales Students.

The club welcomes new players, supporters, match-day volunteers and potential sponsors.
