Cymru Head Coach, John Kear, has added three new members of staff to his backroom team ahead of the Autumn internationals.
Joel Fulford has been appointed as Strength and Conditioning Coach, having previously worked with Kear at both Wakefield Trinity and Bradford Bulls. Joel worked at Wakefield Trinity between 2015 and 2021, starting as the Head of Strength and Conditioning for the Trinity Academy before being named Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach for the first team in 2018.
He returned to Belle Vue in 2022 after spending time as First Team Strength and Conditioning Coach with the Bulls.
Also joining the staff is Ellie France, currently Sports Therapist for Bristol Pitbulls Ice Hockey. Ellie – who lives in the South Wales Valleys – has also worked as Sports Therapist for the Bristol Bears Academy. In rugby league, Ellie was Head of Medical at Hunslet RLFC (2022) and Cornwall RLFC (2023). Ellie will work alongside Leanne Mcpherson, who was part of the Cymru staff at Rugby League World Cup 2022.
Adam Moffatt has joined the staff as Kitman. Adam fulfills the same role for Midlands Hurricanes and has previously worked for Bradford Bulls.
The trio join Mark Moxon (Assistant Coach), Darren Morson (Team Manager), Mark Houlton (Analyst), Richard Lawrance (Doctor) and Andy Morgan (Media Manager).
