Wales Masters have named their squad for the 2024 Tri-Nations that will be held at The New Forge Sports Centre, Belfast on Saturday 16th November.
The festival is being held in Ireland for the first time, following the events in 2021 in Leigh East, England (which featured England, Ireland and Canada) and 2022 in Bethesda, Wales.
There are four uncapped players named in Mark Bostock, Mark Camm, Karl Reinholdt and Nigel Davies, although the first three have also been named in the Wales Masters squad to face Canada at Cardiff Arms Park on Friday 30 August.
Masters Rugby League is played by people aged 35 and over. Even though tries are scored in Masters Rugby League, no points are recorded and there are no winners in this version of the sport, with every match ending officially in a 0-0 draw. There are no winners, no champions and no cup finals – Masters is about is all about the spirit of the game. It’s also great for mental well-being.
If you want to get involved in Masters, there are clubs all around Wales.
