The Royal Air Force will be looking to defend the Simon Weston Challenge Cup when they meet Wales Students on Wednesday at Tata Sports (kick-off 7.15pm).
It’s the second time these sides have met in this annual contest, with the RAF winning 28-16 in the inaugural encounter last May.
Wales are on a good run at the moment. Coached by Clive Griffiths, they’ve recorded wins over a Valleys XIII, North Wales Crusaders A, and All Golds this season.
Wales Students are preparing for the annual Four Nations, which is taking a new approach for the first time in its 32-year history, with sides no longer meeting in a single venue for a week. Instead, the matches will be double headers with the U16s and played over the course of a month.
It means that Wales will travel to Dublin to face Ireland on Saturday, 23rd May to start their challenge, before facing Scotland in Merthyr Tydfil on June 7th, then England in Neath on June 20th.
Admission tomorrow costs £5 for adults, £3 concessions, children free.
