Wales Wheelchair will play their first friendly match of the year on Saturday 14th March, when they will take on UK Armed Forces at Wrexham University (kick-off 1pm).
The two sides met in Hull last November with Wales winning a tight match 24-22 against an Armed Forces side stacked with Super League players.
The Welsh are preparing for May’s Celtic Cup in Scotland and then the World Cup in Wollongong, Australia in October/November.
Head coach Alan Caron said: “We’re looking forward to the return game at home in Wrexham against UK Armed Forces.
“We were happy with the first leg result. We saw little things that we needed to work on, but it was really about blooding in the new the new players, the developing talent.
“It’s a big year for us. We’ve got the Celtic Cup in Scotland, then we’re looking to be as strong as we possibly can leading into the World Cup, and UK Armed Forces give us the competition we need to prepare well for all of this.
“This is our chance to be able to get some big games underneath our belts before we fly out to Australia and we’re looking forward to the challenge.”
More information in regards to ticketing for the match will be released soon.
