With the elite domestic seasons now drawing to a close, less and less of our players are turning out each week, but there is still some success from our internationals and hopefuls.
Warrington Wolves won the Super League Academy Grand Final on Saturday, beating Leeds Rhinos 32-18. In action for Warrington were Wales U18 internationals Junior Westwood and Isaac Holdsworth.
Bailey Antrobus helped York Knights to the men’s Championship Grand Final after they beat Halifax Panthers 30-18. This means that it’s the end of Connor Davies’ domestic season, he was in action for Halifax on Saturday.
In the Women’s Championship Grand Final, London Broncos lost 20-10 at home to Featherstone Rovers. Kathryn Salter kicked an early goal for London, with Emily Hughes also playing.
