Wales Rugby League, in conjunction with community clubs, will be running girls and women’s festival days throughout the summer.
These will be open to girls who fall in the U12, U14 and U16 age group and open age (aged 17 and over).
Players do not need to have any rugby experience, just a willingness to learn and play rugby league. Some of Wales’ Women’s international players transferred over from sports like netball or football.
The idea of the days is to form teams and play matches on the day as the women’s game develops in the south of Wales.
