Wigan Warriors and Sue Gibbons Funeral Service have provided all of the funeral information ahead of Sir William John (Billy) Boston’s Funeral Service today at 12.30pm.
Attendance of the Funeral will be limited to enable the club to work to capacity limits. If you are not able to attend, the funeral service will also be live-streamed at this link so that you may join us in remembering and celebrating Sir Billy’s life.

For those attending, the stadium’s turnstiles will open from 11.15am, and the club are encouraging all those with a pass to be seated by 12.15pm. Attendees can use Car Park 1 on Stadium Way.
At the request of the Boston Family, anyone in attendance is encouraged to wear Traditional Funeral attire, but red items can be worn, such as scarves, ties and headwear.
Fans are also welcome to pay their respects to the passing funeral cortege, which will proceed through Wigan.
A private burial will take place following the service. The Funeral will be family flowers only, but any additional donations to Wigan & Leigh Hospice can be made HERE in memory of Sir Billy & Lady Joan Boston.
