The Wales Rugby League Champion Schools programme will return for the 2025-26 school year.
We aim to run competitions at as many age groups as possible, for boys and girls, so we are now acquiring interest and applications.
We are following the Rugby Football League guidelines, as the top Welsh clubs will qualify for the national competitions, with the Year 7 Boys Final taking place at Wembley Stadium ahead of the men’s and women’s Challenge Cup Finals.
We have had many national winners and finalists throughout the years, with Glantaf’s year 8 boys’ side winning the national title in 2025.
Attached you will find the school championships application form and letter, Schools RL Handbook 25-26 and Who are we – Wales Rugby League document. Can I ask that you return the application form by 19th September 2025.
