The draw for the first round of the national Champion Schools competition has been made, with Wales entering two sides into the Years 7-11 boys age groups.
The Welsh sides have been drawn from six different schools.
The prize for getting to the Final of the Year 7 competition is playing the match at Wembley Stadium before the RFL Challenge Cup Final.
WRL development officer, Peter Tiffin said: “It has been a very busy couple of weeks for the schools with three to four fixtures a week taking place.
“The Wales Rugby League Schools competition continues as establishments take each other on to battle it out to be the best in every age category.
“We have also seen the top two schools in each age category currently progress to the national champion schools competition.
“These are exiting times for us in Wales as so many schools and players are participating in the sport and are enjoying the fixtures. We will be looking to continue and progress the schools fixtures all the way up to May for both Welsh competition and the national fixtures.”
