KIDS GET READY FOR STREET FINALS

THE DELAYED Street Rugby Finals Day in North Wales will kick-off next Wednesday (September 26) at Queensway Sports Stadium, Wrexham.

The finals were delayed from earlier this month but are now ready to go with teams from across the region coming together for a day of rugby action.

It all starts at 6pm, with pick-up points throughout North Wales before the event. The Finals are expected to finish around 8pm, with players back by around 8.30pm.

Everyone who is taking part are asked to ensure they are ready beforehand so that the matches can start promptly at 6pm. There will be light refreshments provided when teams are registered.

Also, for health and safety reasons, players should wear suitable clothes and footwear for the event and bring something warm to wear plus a waterproof jacket in case of rain.

Additionally, it is the responsiblity of each area to have a first aid person present, plus a first aid kit.

All participants should also be the right age for competition and new participants must have parental consent forms fully completed, signed and handed in at the registration desk upon arrival.

Previous consent forms can be used however it would be worth sending a letter for the child’s parent so they know where their child is playing and what time they start and finish.

The area pick-up times to take children to the Finals are:

Rhyl – 4.50pm

Holywell – 5.10pm

Gwersylt – 5.40pm

There is also a pick-up from Brynteg at 5.40pm, while the players and officials from Caia are meeting everyone at the venue.
