The second U16 Origin match of the season takes place this Saturday at The Wern in Merthyr Tydfil when West Wales face East Wales (kick-off 1.30pm).
In the first match a fortnight ago, West clinched a tight encounter 34-28 thanks to a try by Joseph Bailey in the last play of the game.
Both sides have made a number of changes to their line-ups highlighted with the fact that a number of players have been promoted from the development outfits, who also met a fortnight ago.
Three players have been promoted from East following excellent performances are Harry Rich of South Wales Jets, Oliver Strickland from Aber Valley Wolves and Max Phillips of Cardiff Blue Dragons, whilst West are giving opportunities to William Tams of Bridgend Blue Bulls and Joseff Keating of Rhondda Outlaws.
West and East development will meet at noon as a curtain-raiser to the main Origin game. East won the previous encounter in Cardiff last month.
