Wheelchair Cup Final preview

It’s the final game in the WRL Wheelchair domestic season this Saturday at Caerphilly Leisure Centre, when Torfaen Tigers take on North Wales Crusaders in Cwpan Sialens Cadair Olwyn, the Welsh Cup Final (kick-off 11.30am).

The Tigers finished as league leaders title winners with a one-hundred percent record, but the Crusaders won last week’s Grand Final, so it really is all to play for this Saturday.

Torfaen are back to full strength after three players, Jamie Reynolds, Jason Reynolds and Dane Oram, missed last week’s match in Wrexham.

Crusaders have named six players to travel, compared to last week’s eight, with Harry Mitchell-Jones and Noah Rhys Evans absent this week.

Spectators are welcome and admission is free.

Torfaen Tigers: Darran Dowey, Parker Golden, Leighton Morris, Dane Oram, Jamie Reynolds, Jason Reynolds (c), Scotty Turner, Mark Williams.

North Wales Crusaders: Jess Booth (c), Fionn McCabe, Ethan Neilson, Martin Turner, Matthew Turner, Stuart Williams

Referee: Stephen Jones, Assistant Referee: Patrick Martin, In-Goal Official: Sian Morris-Parker
