In the Championship, meanwhile, Rhys Evans started for Bradford Bulls in their 28-0 victory over Sheffield Eagles.
Mike Butt, Gavin Bennion and Rhodri Lloyd all had run-outs for Swinton Lions as they were beaten 35-24 at Featherstone Rovers, with Butt crossing for two tries.
Curtis Davies and Dan Fleming were both on the bench for Halifax in their 34-20 defeat at Leigh Centurions.
Matty Fozard was in London Broncos’ side for their 18-12 win over York City Knights.
In League 1, Welsh-born Calvin Wellington was in Workington Town’s line-up for their 30-22 loss at Newcastle Thunder.
Sean Penkywicz and Sam Hopkins both featured in Rochdale Hornets’ 29-14 success over Keighley Cougars, with the later getting on the scoresheet.
Rob Massam, scoring a try, and Elliott Jenkins were in North Wales Crusaders’ side for their 29-6 defeat at Hunslet.
Dai Evans and Morgan Evans starred for West Wales Raiders as they were beaten 50-10 at Doncaster, with the later grabbing a try on the day.
