Wales Dragonhearts, the representative side for the men’s community game in this country, are running trials for players ahead of their 30th anniversary season.

These trials will take place on Saturday 3 February in South Wales and Sunday 11 February in North Wales at a venue to be confirmed. The timings will be emailed to registered trialists when confirmed. Please register your interest below.

Players must have been in action for a rugby league club in England or Wales in the 2023 season and must also be signed for, or be prepared to sign for a club in 2024.

All adult players (aged 18 and over) will be considered. Players must be either born in Wales, resident in Wales for at least five years or have a Welsh parent or grandparent.

Head coach Simon Reynolds said: “The thought process of having international trials is to give as many Welsh people as possible the chance to put their best foot forward in gaining selection for the 2024 internationals.

“Previously it has been a bit of a rush after the Origin series to raise the funds with it being a self-funded programme, but this gives us the chance to build foundations, raise funds and train more frequently as a group before going into the tests towards the back end of the year.”
