The East Wales and West Wales Origin programmes are starting soon. These are open to boys who played in the recent season’s U12s-15s age groups, so they will now be in school years 8-11 now.
These will culminate in matches between East Wales and West Wales at U14 and U16 levels and will also be valuable for selection for next year’s Wales U16 side. Many who have started in U14 and U16 Origin are now in Super League academy set-ups.

East and West Wales are also looking for additional coaches. There will be an open session for all potential coaches on September 27th 9am-midday, to be held at Maesteg Celtic (CF34 0NE). This is open to all coaches interested in coaching rugby league.
