The JES Group Rugby League Conference continues this Saturday with two more matches that will have a significant impact on who reaches the Grand Final on August 2nd.
Bridgend Blue Bulls take on Cynon Valley Cavaliers at Brynglas Field in Pyle (kick-off 2.30pm).
The Bulls have just come out of a tough midweek encounter at Aberavon Fighting Irish where they lost 56-22.
However, they will be boosted with the knowledge that they overcame the Cavaliers fairly easily at Summer Smash at Cardiff Arms Park a fortnight ago. If they can complete the double, they will go four points ahead of South Wales Jets and into second place in the league.
The Cavaliers are still looking for their first win of the season but have two matches to rearrange having postponed their trip to Jets last weekend.
Aberavon Fighting Irish, unbeaten at the top of the table, will have one foot in the Grand Final if they beat Rhondda Outlaws at Glyncoch RFC (kick-off 2.30pm).
The two sides met last Saturday in Port Talbot where Aberavon were strong victors. A fifth win in a row will mean it’s unlikely that they won’t qualify for the big event in August, especially considering their big points difference.
Rhondda have lost two matches this season and will go into this game knowing that it’s the best time to face an Aberavon side who last played just three days before.
