Wales Students will travel to face a Valleys XIII this Friday at Graig Park, Tonypandy, the home of South Wales Saints RLFC (kick-off 7pm).
This is the first match in Clive Griffiths’ Wales side’s preparation for next year’s Four Nations series.
Many of last year’s side have been retained with just six newcomers to the squad. Alexander Abel, Logan Hannah, Jarrad Hughes, Kian Lloyd and Rhys Nicholls will play for Wales for the first time in this non-capped match, whilst Kavan Phillips, who has worked his way through Aber Valley Wolves ranks since U12s, has also played for his school Ysgol Gyfun Cwm Rhymni and Wales U16.
Admission to the match is £5 adults, U16 free. Refreshments available on the night. All cash only.
