Billy Walkley has had a good few weeks, scoring in every match he’s played for Sheffield Eagles, four tries in three games. Denive Balforth scored a try for York Knights in the Challenge Cup win against Keighley Cougars, also playing in the Super League losses to Wigan Warriors and Wakefield Trinity. Luke Thomas started as prop in Warrington Wolves’ Cup win over Goole Vikings.

Curtis Davies has rejoined Halifax Panthers after five years away from the club, reunited with his twin Connor Davies. His first match was a loss to his previous club, London Broncos, but has since helped the revived side to wins over North Wales Crusaders and Salford. Connor is just coming back after injury and was 18th man against Salford.

Congratulations to Fin Yates, who scored his first-ever professional try for Salford in their loss to Halifax. It was a good day for Welsh players, despite the defeat, as Ollie Garmston also scored a try, his fourth of the season. Sam Bowring has made his loan spell at Salford a permanent transfer and played in their losses to London and Halifax.

Ashton Robinson and Junior Westwood both played in three Crusaders matches, helping them to a big win over Whitehaven. Ant Walker came off the bench for Crusaders in that game and scored a try, whilst Westwood got two tries and a goal. Jake Nottingham made his professional debut in Crusaders’ loss to Halifax.

Midlands Hurricanes achieved two wins and a draw over the last four weeks, with Luis Roberts playing in all three matches. Owen Restall played in just one, scoring a try in the draw with Whitehaven.

Matty Fozard and Mike Butt were both active in two matches for Widnes Vikings, with the latter scoring a try in the win over Hunslet. Bailey Antrobus starred in Newcastle Thunder’s wins over Keighley and Workington Town. Spender Fulton played in Workington’s win over Salford and loss to Newcastle.
