WRL looking to grow rugby league in West Wales

With many community rugby league clubs in Wales returning to training this week, Wales Rugby League are now looking to grow the game further in West Wales.

Llanelli Knights RLFC will be running open age sides for both men and women, as well as for girls and boys at junior level, and WRL are also hoping to branch out further west.

WRL are looking for coaches, volunteers and match officials for Llanelli Knights and are also inviting groups of volunteers to form new community clubs in areas like Carmarthen, Tenby or Cardigan.

Rugby League is fast and fun, and if you want to give it a try in Llanelli or be involved in a club further west, then please contact the WRL community coach Peter Tiffin on peter.tiffin@walesrugbyleague.co.uk and Mark Jones the WRL national development manager on mark.jones@walesrugbyleague.co.uk.
