Aberavon to host Physical Disability Rugby League trials

Wales Rugby League are holding open trials for their Physical Disability World Cup side at Aberavon Green Stars RFC on Saturday January 22 at 2pm.

The Green Stars ground of Little Warren is the traditional home of Aberavon Fighting Irish who came back into the rugby league fold last year.

The first session will give the opportunity for anyone who is interested to attend, join in with the activities and potentially go on the path to play for Wales in the Physical Disability World Cup next autumn, where Wales will face England, Ireland, Scotland, Australia and New Zealand.

Trialists need to be born in Wales, have lived in Wales for at least five years or have Welsh heritage – at least one parent or grandparent born in Wales.
