WRL partner with Buffoon Media


Wales Rugby League is delighted to welcome Buffoon Media as our new video and streaming partner.

Buffoon Media has been creating and streaming content for Welsh sport for over a decade.

Working out of their bases in Port Talbot and London, they have worked with the likes of Football Association of Wales, Swim Wales, Sport Wales, Welsh Rugby Union and Hockey Wales. Being a proud Welsh company, they are excited to partner with Wales Rugby League.

As part of the partnership, Buffoon Media will stream home internationals in 2024, including our under 16s and under 19s matches this summer. Buffoon also provided a live stream from Netherlands last Saturday, as our Women’s team qualfied for the World Cup for the first ever time.

The team at Buffoon Media will also support with the production of videos that tell the story of the impact of rugby league in communities beyond the 80 minutes.

Buffoon Media branding will appear on all video content, streams and related social media posts, as well as on the sleeve of the our men’s and women’s shirts.

Buffoon Media will stream Sunday’s under 16 international against Scotland on the Wales Rugby League YouTube and Facebook platforms. Kick-off is 1pm.
